MEGA! Really the best coffee shop I've been to so far. Nicely and comfortably furnished, very friendly service staff and a fantastic selection of many different cakes and pies, even more unusual ones. There was even something for vegans here. I would love to come back here if I ever should be around again.

We really enjoyed breakfast there. The food was delicious and very nicely presented. The atmosphere is nice too. You pay a little more for breakfast here, but the price is okay for what you get. I also think that you can eat cake there because one of the tarts was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and there was no lack of humor. We will be back definitely. We can only recommend the café!

The café is cozy and the ambience invites you to spend a nice afternoon with coffee and cake. Unfortunately there was hardly any cake left at 3:30 p.m. and the condition was not very friendly: - / For example, no one asked for another drink. Too bad. Hope next time it's better because the café is so nicely set up

The food was delicious and looked so great. I will gladly come again! Even in spite of “Corona”, super friendly and I felt safe.

Great cakes and tarts, nice ambience, friendly staff! When we (4 adults and 2 children) came, there was initially no table for our space requirements. The boss tried very hard to get us a suitable table as soon as possible. However, this was not possible immediately due to the number of guests. To literally sweeten the waiting time in front of the door, he handed us a piece of cake to try: a great gesture that also tasted delicious! All of the cakes we had were very good. Only a cake filled with cream ran on the plate. The coffee selection is very good. Particularly noteworthy is that a very tasty decaffeinated coffee is offered that you can brew yourself at the table. We had a very nice stay! Keep it up!

Very nice café with nice seating in the garden. The selection of cakes is huge and interesting. The location in the pedestrian zone is ideal. The café is also known for its breakfast. Then why am I so stingy with my rating? Because the service was impossible and because the plates weren't clean.

Nice cafe with big portions and really tasty but weird concept. There is a small carafe of mint water on each table. My wife and I ordered the Monaco gourmet breakfast and the Bretagne breakfast (which comes with mint water). When we asked after we got our breakfast, where would the mint water be, which would be with breakfast Bretagne, the lady said that we had already had it on the table. Now my question would be, would we have been charged for the mint water if we had taken another breakfast that did not include mint water? If so, I will now open a café and put an open bottle of champagne on the table for each guest and, if something was drunk, charge € 300 when paying for it. Clever business idea.

A wonderful cozy ambience awaits you. The breakfast is lovely, fresh fruit, grilled vegetables, homemade jam, great French cheese and an even better tasting coffee ... the staff is very, very friendly! A visit is highly recommended!

Very, very good quality and fantastically presented, great service, great atmosphere and nice waitresses! A visit to the Künstlercafehusum is an absolute must ? highly recommended for special occasions or if you want to treat yourself to something! Prices cannot be compared to a "normal" breakfast in a café, but with such a special breakfast, the price is definitely worth it ?? keep it up, we'll be back, for sure !!

Very cozy with a large selection of cakes. Filter coffee is freshly prepared directly by yourself with its own small filter. Pretty tasty ?. There is a small terrace to sit outside.

Cakes are not that good: there’s a dryish baked layer, a bit of fruit, then a pile of cream or meringue. Eh — not for me. I heard a staff member complaining about having to work too hard after months off. I’ll do them a favor and not go back.

For breakfast there is only one grade: AAA (+)! What you get served here is really amazing, I have never had breakfast like this before and it takes first place for me personally. The prices are a bit higher, but for the performance you get in return worth every penny. I will definitely come back!

Absolutely earned five stars! It couldn't be better, just perfect! Great service, great cakes and a very nice atmosphere. This café stands out positively, especially in SARS-Cov2 times. At the entrance there is a traffic light that regulates entry. Super solved!

We arrived at 11.37 am expecting to have one of the nice breakfasts on the menu and when we were ready to order, the waitress informed us that the chef only served breakfast until 11.30. Expect no flexibility or tolerance from the staff when it comes to the schedule. We decided then to have an early lunch which was nothing all that special. We should have definitely tried one of the other cafes around.

I visited the lovely Künstlercafé when I was in Husum in July this year . Wow ! What a special place .. I went back four times during my stay and enjoyed the most outstanding brunch presented to our table on platters to share . The coffee is excellent and the café has a French flavour. Martin, the owner and his lovely wife have a flair for great food, beautiful flowers ( done by Martin!) - presented beautifully and more importantly tasting delicious! Do not miss this place if you are in Husum! Check out their Facebook page for photos to confirm this recommendation. There is also a great selection of original art for sale displayed on the café walls and a lovely courtyard out the back for al fresco dining . The best Cafe in Husum, with a wide offer of hand made cakes. Excellent breakfasts/brunches, with hot drinks, artisanal cheeses, salamis, sausages, cold fish and fruit. You can also have lunch with simple but tasty warm and cold dishes, prepared with selected ingredients. In warm seasons it's possible to eat outside, in a small cozy garden in the back of the Cafe. The interiors, on two floors, have a warm and friendly atmosphere, ideal also for cold winter days. Highly recommended

Coffee and cake / lunch to enjoy! Pure friendliness! Lunch fresh and tasty. Coffee with small porcelain filters, that's really fun. Many goodies - spoiled for choice.

Nice, old fashioned café in the pedestrianised centre of town. Coffees are alright, if quite expensive. 3,50€ for a mug of cappuccino. A large slice of tasty quiche is 7,95€

Been here about ten times and love the place. It has a gallery upstairs and serves great café and kuchen, the best in town. Light snacks and tasty treats abound.

Delicious(vegan) cake, lot of options for vegans but also normal. Very friendly staff and really cool place

Fine Tarts & Cakes

We love Husum and this is the best cafe in Husum! It is a lovely old building with a sunny garden to the rear. Excellent cakes and food, great wine and coffee and a warm welcoming service with a smile. Highly recommend.
